It weird to stress about something you love to do. I think that's why I've kept my sanity with two terms down. There's still five to go including this one. The problem, I think, is that I'm already making different negotiations with myself. I like my pen&ink class a lot better than the computer ones. Production is okay because I've done some marker stuff for it... I like using that learned skill.
Translating my traditional work to digital is confusing though. There are things I thought would be easier, I guess, to draw something in Illustrator. But drawing it by hand a few times was less complicated. Just can't beat a handy pencil. I think the problem is all my art training, up to three years ago was pretty much strictly traditional fine art. It couldn't be more varied in mediums, from clay, to wire art, to jewelry making, to paint, pencil, and cres pas, but it was so much more handsy.
So to assume I can snap something together because I'm 'just using a computer' is getting more complicated. I hate Classroom In A Book. I hate following mediocre lesson plans. I want to do the big projects and I'm sick of paperwork, grade sheets, and binder checks.
Arg. I need to go to bed. Ah well.
